From the starting point at the Durlaßboden reservoir, a path leads along the north side of the lake via meadow and forest paths to the Larmachbach. It continues on the east side to the bridge at the Schütthofalm. From the Schütthofalm, you will hike along the Finkaubach to the Finkausee. The path leads past Alpengasthof Finkau via the Bärschlagalm back to the start. Of course, you also can't miss out on delicious ice cream in the Seestüberl.
7-hour mountain tour including two summits and a breathtaking view of the Kitzbühel and Zillertal Alps. Good mountain boots recommended.
Behind the music pavilion in the center of Gerlos, hiking path no. 7 leads through the forest directly to the Arbiskogel summit (2,048m). From the Arbiskogel, the path leads past the Braunnelenkopf to the foot of the Kirchspitze. From here, the path leads through rocky terrain over the ridge of the Kirchspitze to the summit (2,312m). For the return path, we recommend turning right below the Kirchspitze. From here, the hiking path leads to the Inkarhöhe and continues to the Stackerlalm. Starting here is the downhill path that leads into the Schönachtal and back to Gerlos.
2-hour hike along the beautiful Durlaßboden reservoir.
From the starting point at the Durlaßboden reservoir, a path leads along the north side of the lake via meadow and forest paths to the Larmachbach. You will then continue on the east side to the bridge at the Schütthofalm. From the Schütthofalm, a path leads back to the start of the tour past picturesque hill farms and relaxation points and ends at the dam crest.
Ca. 1-hour easy hike directly from the Geiserhof. This is also an exciting excursion for kids to go on from the Geislerhof with the ponies.
Head directly from the Geislerhof towards Hotel Almhof and from here through lush, blooming meadows to the Zimmererbauer. The path continues through the forest, where you will reach a few steps after around 10 minutes - these lead directly to the dam crest. Awaiting you here is a breathtaking view of the reservoir. From the dam crest, a flat path leads through a tunnel and then along the lake back to Hotel Almhof. After an uphill stretch, you will once again reach the Geislerhof.
